Product Overview
The heavy-duty SC70 Series is built for busy commercial and institutional applications that require reliability and easy maintenance. With a variety of mounting options, arm types and installation accessories available, the SC70 Series is suitable for a variety of applications, including interior or exterior doors in schools, retail shops, restaurants, offices and apartment complexes. The SC70 Series features a single-piece cast aluminum body, a heat-treated forged steel piston and a double heat-treated pinion. Its non-handed design allows the closer to mount on left or right swinging doors. The Falcon SC71A is UL approved and compliant with the UL 10C and UBC 7-2 (1997) fire test. Additionally, the SC71A is rated ANSI/BHMA A156.4, grade 1 and designed to meet the American Disabilities Act (ADA) and ANSI A117.1 Separate adjustable general speed, latch speed and backcheck. Common industry hole pattern. Staked valves. Fast and easy installation.
