Product Overview
National Guard Products' perimeter seal bulb insert of vinyl or silicone. Silicone is dense black, resistant to ozone, UV, aging, moisture and flame. Recommended for areas using FM200 or Halon Fire Suppression Systems. Screw holes are slotted for adjustment. Complies with IBC, NFPA 80 and NFPA 252 for application to hollow metal fire doors rated up to 3 hrs., and wood fire doors rated up to 90 minutes. Vinyl seals are flame and moisture resistant. Oxidative degradation from age and exposure to cold, heat and UV causes hardening, loss of memory and resilience, cracking, crazing and discoloration.
